ITALY defender Riccardo Calafiori has reportedly agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

Elsewhere, the Gunners have sealed the permanent signing of Brentford goalkeeper David Raya for a fee of £27m.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly interested in Spanish youngster Nico Williams, who has impressed at the Euros.

    The left-back was pivotal in his country's run in the Euros, reaching the quarter-finals.

    The Gunners are said to have agreed a deal with Bologna over the signing of Riccardo Calafiori.

    Arsenal will reportedly pay the Italians £45million for the defender, claim Sports Zone.

    The report adds an agreement was reached on Sunday.

    Mikel Arteta's side have been Juventus to the signing of Calafiori, who is believed to have already agreed terms with the North London club.

    MANCHESTER UNITED and Arsenal are set for a £30million war over Brian Brobbey.

    Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag knows the Ajax striker, 22,from his time at the Dutch club and is eyeing a summer move.

    Gunners chief Mikel Arteta also feels Brobbey can provide an alternative option to injury-prone Gabriel Jesus in attack.

    A host of Italian clubs arekeen onthe ex-RB RB Leipzig man, too.

    But it is understoodthe playerhas his heart set on a Prem switch.
    Brobbey, who netted 21 times last season, is part of Holland’s Euros squad.

    With the impending arrival of Riccardo Calafiori, reports suggest Jakub Kiwior could be set for a move.

    At least that's what transfer expert Fabrizio Romano believes.

    He took to X and wrote: "Jakub Kiwior could leave Arsenal in case of good proposal, with Riccardo Calafiori close to joining.

    "Understand there’s possibility for loan but only with a mandatory buy clause. Italian clubs are keeping close eye to the situation, no formal proposals yet."

    Arsenal have reportedly made a bid for Harrison Miles.

    The Football Insider claims that the Gunners and the Man City are tracking the 16-year-old.

    Arsenal are reportedly keen on Wolves teenager Daniel Bentley.

    TheShropshire Star report the 30-year-old is seen as a potential back up goalie to David Raya.

    Bentley appeared five times for the midlands club last season.

    Interestingly, he was on Arsenal’s books as a youth player from 2001-2008.

    Saka - a United fan?

    BUKAYO SAKA was left stunned by Luke Shaw's claim he is a Manchester United fan.

    TheEnglandleft-back even said he could "ask anyone in the squad" and they would agree with him.

    Sakawas having none of it, though, as the pair enjoyed a light-hearted exchange on the latest episode of theLions' Den.

    When asked, he suggested his favourite effort was against United by smiling and looking atShaw.

    He had previously joked about scoring against the Red Devils man earlier in the show.

    Saka even burst out laughing as he teased his team-mate, who quipped: "It’s because B supports United, that’s why it’s his favourite…"

    In response, Saka protested: "You're lying bro."

    Shaw then added: "B, come on, be honest, we can ask anyone in the squad."

    Protesting the claim, Saka called on Shaw to "ask Dec" (Rice) in order to get a final answer to their jokey argument.

    Arsenal target Riccardo Calafiori has been hailed by a Bologna team-mate ahead of a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.

    Scotland midfielder Lewis Ferguson told BBC Radio Scotland: "Not only did he have a really good tournament, but last season he was outstanding - one of our best players.

    "We had a great season as a team and he was big part of that."

    Sancho emotional message to Saka

    Jadon Sancho wrote a heartfelt message to Bukayo Saka after his star performance for England last night.

    Sancho shared a post on his Instagram story of Saka holding his MOTM award and captioned it, "I'm so proud of this guy! You did it for me and Marcus brother!"

    The Arsenal winger took England's third penalty, slotting it cooly into the inside of the side netting as England went on to win the shootout.
