24/7 Mental Health Crisis Resource
On weekdays after 4:30pm, weekends and holidays, call the Marquette Counseling Center at (414) 288-7172, select option 2 to speak with a mental health support specialist.

The Advocacy Network consists of Marquette faculty and staff members who have been specially trained to provide support and assistance to members of the Marquette community who have experienced sexual misconduct. This team supports the 24/7 on-call Advocacy Services response.

Through group engagement, students can develop new insights and skills to work through their challenges and improve their quality of life. Our groups typically meet weekly across the semester and address many issues including self-esteem, relationships, depression, anxiety, stress and skill building. Healing Center at Sinai Medical Center
24-hr crisis hotline. Staff there can address all issues including crisis counseling, injuries, STI testing and treatment, pregnancy and the gathering of physical evidence, as well as referrals for further care. All services at the Healing Center are confidential. The Healing Center can be reached at (414) 219-5555.

Marquette Backpack Program
On-campus food pantry that provides groceries and necessary toiletries to any Marquette student who is having difficulty accessing affordable, nutritious food and other essential household items. After registering in person, students will be able to shop for a few days-worth of groceries including fresh produce, frozen meat and non-perishables and additional personal products. There are no requirements to use this free and confidential resource and no student will be turned away.

On campus support for students in recovery from substance use. Starting in August, there will be two weekly on-campus recovery meetings for Marquette students as well as a monthly all-recovery meeting open to the Marquette community as a whole.

Sexual Violence Victim Advocate
A university sexual violence victim advocate is available to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance for victims of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking or sexual harassment. The advocates are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are just a phone call or an email away. Advocacy services is a confidential resource, which means that they will not report what you share with them to the Title IX Coordinator.
