Once you reach West Limgrave, one of the first places you’ll find is the Church of Elleh. Inside the ruined church, you’ll find a smithing table (where you can use smithing stones to upgrade your weapons) and a vendor named Santa merchant Kalé.

It’s patrolled by a couple demi-humans on horseback, a couple more on foot, and several dogs (wolves?), so it’s well-guarded and you might have to level up a bit before heading there.
Inside the camp’s palisade, you’ll find a corpse with the Armorer’s Cookbook 1.

Elden Ring Crafting Materials

---|---|---|
Name | Description | Lore |
Sliver of Meat | A slice of thinly carved beast flesh. Found by hunting herbivorous Beasts. | The dried meat toughens the constitution. |
Strip of White Flesh | Thin strips of flesh taken from a bloodless creature. | The dried meat toughens the constitution, boosting resistance. It's known for its long-lasting effect. |
Beast Liver | The fresh liver of a beast; a luscious fruit of life. Found by hunting herbivorous beasts. | Dried liver boosts damage negation. |
Lump of Flesh | A lump of beast flesh filled with rich juices. Found by hunting carnivorous beasts. | Meat suitable for a rustic feast. |
Turtle Neck Meat | A splendid, lengthy cut of turtle neck meat. | Considered an especially nutritious ingredient in the south of the Lands Between. |
Budding Horn | A rarely-seen specimen of a young, budding horn. Found by hunting herbivorousbeasts. | This horn began to sprout on a beast that typically bears no horn. Perhaps it's a vestige of the primordial crucible. |
Flight Pinion | Flight feather of birds. | Commonly used for arrow fletchings. |
Stormhawk Feather | A feather from a hawk that lived as one with the storms. | These feathers, enveloped in swirling winds, are often used for arrow fletching. |
Four-Toed Fowl Foot | A four-toed fowl's foot. | In the Lands Between, having three digits is seen as a bad omen. As such, the four-toed fowl's foot is a gift of great luck indeed. |
Slumbering Egg | Owl eggs that will never hatch. | Prized as a symbol of the most sublime slumber. |
Crab Eggs | Eggs of large crabs which dwell in the shallows. | A nutritious foodstuff that warms from within. The flavor is exquisite. Only those of comfort and means know the truth; a crab's eggs are more delectable than its meat. |
Hefty Beast Bone | Thick, solid beast bones. Found by hunting particularly large beasts. | Commonly used to make disposable weapons. |
Great Dragonfly Head | Head of a large dragonfly. | Long believed to have the ability to neutralize poisons. |
Silver Firefly | Firefly that gives off a silvery light. Found near bodies of coId water untouched by sunlight. | The light of fireflies is believed to have an alluring magic. Silver light is considered to invite riches. |
Smoldering Butterfly | An eternally burning butterfly found near wildfires and elsewhere. [Also campfires.] | Serves as the kindling for a number of items. |
Gold-Tinged Excrement | Someone's excrement. It has a golden tinge. Often hidden in woods and thickets. | Gold-tinged excrement is a highly stable substance; it doesn't dry out, nor does it lose its customary warmth or scent. For better or for worse, it remains as it is. |
Rowa Fruit | Berry-like red fruits that grow in shrubs. | Easily found everywhere in the Lands Between, it has a wide variety of uses. |
Herba | Evergreen leaves that give off a faint light. | This very common medicinal plant can be found in thickets and elsewhere. |
Mushroom | A tungal growth that thrives in damp thickets and elsewhere. | Its thick, spongy flesh makes it a key component in throwing pots. |
Erdleaf Flower | A dusky yellow flower that has started to fade to brown, found throughout the Lands Between. | Said to be fed by leaves that fell from the Erdtree in days of antiquity. |
Poisonbloom | Flower that grows in toxic terram. | Dripping with a deep-green poisonous liquid. |
Tarnished Golden Sunflower | A large flower that blooms facing the Erdtree. Found near Minor Erdtrees. | Though wilted and faded, it still retains holy essence. |
Trina's Lily | A light-purple water lily that is on the verge of wilting. Exceedingly rare to find. | A symbol of faith in St. Trina. Dulls the senses, preventing agitation. |
Miranda Powder | Pollen from a man-eating miranda flower. | Throughout history, pertumers have prized this extremely fragrant form of miranda pollen, not yet scattered into the air. |
Root Resin | Resin secreted from the roots of the Greattree. Can also be found near trees on the surface. | The roots of the Greattree were once linked to those of the Erdtree, or so they say, and it is for this reason catacombs are built around Greattree roots. |
Cave Moss | Faintly luminescent moss that grows in dark caves. | A fundamental ingredient tor medicinal boluses. |
Sanctuary Stone | A rare piece of stone tragment found near places where ruins have fallen from the sky. | It feeds and strengthens the light as it shines. |
