Liquor store catches on fire in East St. Louis
The incident occurred at Champion's Liquor Store on North 18th and State Streets at around 1 a.m. Smoke was bellowing from the windows as firefighters worked to put the fire out.
Utility crews with the city of St. Louis received a call around 4:15 Thursday afternoon for a 12-inch water main break at Chippewa and McCausland that has led to water gushing on the street for hours.
