SSC CHSL Eligibility
Before applying for SSC CHSL 2023 exam, you need to check whether you are eligible for it or not. The SSC CHSL eligibility is divided into three categories:
- Nationality/Citizenship
- Age limit of the applicants
- Educational Qualification
Nationality/Citizenship : A candidate must be either a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 to permanently settle in India.
Age limit: The minimum age to appear for SSC CHSL 2023 as of January 01, 2022, is 18 years and the maximum age is 27 years. Do check the detailed post on SSC CHSL eligibility criteria to know about age relaxations for different categories.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. If the applicant possesses any Degree obtained through Open Universities or Distance Education Mode, then that must be recognized by the Distance Education Council, IGNOU.
Skill Test Eligibility : The applicant must have passed 12th standard in the science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent. (Data Entry Operator Post Only).

Step 2 : You can see that there is a new page appearing on your device.
Step 3: Enter all the mandatory details like a) Your Name b) Your father's Name c) Your Roll number or Registration number.
Step 4: After completing the above-mentioned steps please click on the login button.
Step 5 : Candidates can see admit cards on their display screen.
Step 6 : Download your admit card and take the printout for your reference.

SSC CHSL Selection
To get selected for the SSC CHSL 2022 recruitment, you are required to clear all three stages of the SSC CHSL 2022 Selection Process. These 3 stages are:
- Objective Test
- Descriptive Test
- Skill Test
The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam is an objective test, while Tier 2 is a descriptive test. Candidates need to qualify for each tier in order to appear for the subsequent tier. SSC CHSL Exam Pattern
- The CBT Tier-I Examination comprises Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only.
- The questions will be asked in English and Hindi except in the English Language section as per the SSC CHSL paper pattern.
- As per the SSC CHSL Marking Scheme, each question carries 2 marks and there will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Exam Pattern 2023 for Tier II Exam
- The CBT Tier-II comprises Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module-II of Section-III. The questions will be asked in English and Hindi except for Module II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II as per the SSC CHSL paper pattern.
- As per SSC CHSL Marking Scheme, there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Section-I, Section II, and Module-I of Section III.
- It will be compulsory for the candidates to ace all the sections of Tier II.
- Module-I of Section-III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is compulsory but qualifying in nature.
- The Skill Test is mandatory for Data Entry Operators. The Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key Depressions per hour on the Computer will be adjudged based on the correct entry of words/ key depressions as per the assigned passage. The duration of the exam will be 15 minutes and printed matter in English comprising about 2000-2200 key depressions would be allotted to each candidate who will have to enter the same in the Computer.
- The Typing Test is applicable for other posts i.e. LDC/ JSA. The medium of Typing Test will be Hindi or English. Candidates choosing English medium must have a typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) and those selecting Hindi medium must have a typing speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.). 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to about 10500 key depressions per hour and about 9000 key depressions per hour respectively. The speed will be adjudged on the typing accuracy on the Computer of an assigned text passage in 10 minutes.

SSC CHSL How to Apply
1. Click on the official link which is provided above on this page.
2. Click on New User Register Now Button. The registration link will open up in the new window.
3. Click on New Registration in SSC CHSL 2023 application window and then click on the register button.
4. To begin with the registration, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
5. Click on submit button to submit your online registration form of SSC CHSL 2023. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued Registration ID for SSC CHSL 2023 exam. Candidates are required to login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC CHSL 2022.
6. In the next step, candidates would have to upload photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned by SSC.
Photograph - The photograph must be clicked in front of white colour or light coloured background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.
Signature - The signature must be in black or blue ink on white sheet. The scanned copy of signature must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.
7. Login with registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form of SSC CHSL 2023.
8. After filling up the application form, candidates must preview the entire application form of SSC CHSL 2023 once to look for any glitches in the form.
9. Click on Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC CHSL application form.
