Seasonal rankings and news !Last week, we represented a legacy client in an arbitration hearing with the Team Gaëlle Filhol, Laura Canet and Sarah Fedida (and with the outstanding help of Maé Klein and Sofiane Kimri ). This was of course with our friends Alexandre Reynaud and Amélie TemplinI also learned that I was ranked once again by Who's Who Legal as a Future Leader in the 2024 Arbitration Global Guide, and for that I am very grateful to clients and peers. We ought to take some time to celebrate this busy end of the year, 8 months after having joined Pinsent Masons Paris’ International Arbitration Team, with Florian Quintard Anne de Mazières Mathilde Allard Laure Poirson and special guests from London Charles Blamire-Brown and Singapour Frédéric Gillion More to come in 2024!

#Ethics are perceived both as a poison to and an antidote for the safeguard of #interbationalarbitration’s legitimacy and efficiency against unethical behaviour.❓Will we have to ask Chat GPT whether a potential arbitrator may be conflicted in order to fulfil our duty of curiosity before making an appointment ?❓Is having a potentially forged or leaked evidence striken from the record the only sanction of unethical behaviors when presenting evidences ? ❓What does ethics mean in an inclusive and multicultural industry like international arbitration ?Domestic regulations or international guidelines may not be the only suitable solutions. Arbitrators, counsel, institutions and judges have, in practice, a key role. As well as ESG and business & HR policies and reporting for internal in-house counsel. These were the issues and solutions we discussed last Friday in Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in #Milan during the last #ICCYAAF on #ethics and #internationalarbitration organized by Fabio Santacroce and Flavio Ponzano

Once again this year, together with my friend Antoine Cottin, we published on Kluwer Arbitration Blog a short review of 2022's arbitration-related developments in France. Busy year, in particular on public policy and investment issues. Thank you Esmé Shirlow and Maria Fanou!#arbitrationlaw #france #annulment #enforcement

#arbitrage #europeanlaw
